Transgender Identity
Gender identity refers to the way a person feel inwardly whether feeling like a female, male, or something else. Also, the gender expression is when the person is communicating the gender identity to others through the clothing, voice characteristics, behavior, hairstyles, or body characteristics.
Gender identity shouldn’t be confused with sexual orientation. It’s not the same as gay, lesbian, or bisexual. Gender identity, whether cisgender or transgender, is about who the person fool inwardly, whether it’s as a female, male, both, or something else entirely.
